Who you’re actually hiring

You’ll deal with Jacob. Start to finish.

Most homeowners we meet have already been burned once — a contractor who quoted high, started late, vanished mid-job, or sent a crew they’d never met.

Jacob Weaver served in the United States Navy before he ever picked up a framing square, and he runs Oasis the way he was trained: show up when you said you would, do it to standard, and stand behind it.

He measures your deck himself. He writes your quote himself. And he is on your job site while it’s being built. When you call this company, a person picks up.

The Oasis Promise

Three things we get right, every single time.

01 — Quality

High-quality construction

Oasis Custom Decks is an officially approved TrexPro™ Platinum contractor, using only premium decking materials including TimberTech. Your deck is built with precision and designed to endure for years to come.

02 — Speed

Quick build times

Depending on the complexity of your project, it’s possible for us to complete construction in as little as three working days. If more time is needed, we set a reasonable finish date and hold to it.

03 — Price

Reasonable, honest pricing

A great deck shouldn’t cost you an arm and a leg. We take the time to understand exactly what you’re looking for and walk you through your options so you get a fair, accurate price — not a moving target.

How it works

Four steps. No surprises.

You will always know what happens next, who is coming, and what it costs before anything is built.

We come out and measure

Jacob visits your home, takes real measurements, looks at your grade and access, and listens to how you want to use the space.

You get a written quote

A detailed, itemised number — frequently the same day. Materials, labour, permits. Nothing buried in fine print.

We handle permits & build

We pull the township permits, build to code, and keep your property clean. Many decks are finished in a matter of days.

We walk the punch list with you

Before we call it done, we walk the whole build together. Anything on your list gets fixed. Then you get your yard back.

“We have an older flat deck covered by rubber roofing material. The material has started to wear. Jacob came out and evaluated the deck and presented various options. He was professional and honest in that he couldn’t supply what we are looking for. His opinion was a roofing company would best deliver what we are wanting. What more can you ask from a contractor — PROFESSIONAL, HONEST, and TRUSTWORTHY. I gladly recommend Oasis to everyone!”

“We hired Jake to rip out our old, failing deck and build us the deck of our dreams. From the moment we met him, we could tell he was knowledgeable and he quickly earned our trust and our business. He sat with us and we discussed what our dream covered deck would be and he did everything he could to give us exactly what we wanted. His crew was kind to us. When the project was done, we went through the punch list and Jake made sure anything we wanted happened.”

“We are absolutely thrilled with our new deck! From the moment we reached out, Jake was professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to understand our vision, measured everything carefully, and provided a detailed quote the very same day. When we decided to install a hot tub, Jake quickly adjusted the design to place it on top of the deck with the proper support, making sure everything was structurally sound. The final result is stunning.”

“Had a porch added to our house and Jake did a fantastic job. It made getting into the house so much easier for the infirm of our family.”

“We have an old home and had a lot of problems with the porch including inadequate support and wood rot. A friend recommended Jake and we are thrilled with the outcome. When we ran into a problem with the height of the risers, Jake resolved the issue and it looks great. Thanks Jake.”

“I found Jake as a recommended installer through Trex. He rebuilt the structure under our balcony and installed Trex decking. The workmanship was excellent and he met the schedule and cost estimate. I highly recommend him to others looking for deck install or repair.”

Straight answers

The questions homeowners always ask.

How much does a custom deck actually cost?

It depends on size, height off the ground, railing style and whether you want a roof over it. Most of the composite decks we build in this area land somewhere between $18,000 and $60,000, and covered outdoor living spaces run higher.

We won’t make you sit through a sales presentation to hear a number. Jacob measures, listens to what you want, and gives you a detailed written quote — often the same day.

How long will my yard be a construction site?

Less time than you think. Depending on complexity, many of our decks are finished in as little as three working days. Larger covered structures take longer, but we give you a realistic finish date up front and we stick to it.

We don’t start a job, disappear to another one, and come back in three weeks. That is the single most common complaint homeowners have about contractors, and it’s the one we built our whole process around avoiding.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. We handle the permitting for your township and build to current code, including footing depth, ledger attachment, railing height and stair rise. Every structure is engineered to carry the load it needs to carry — including hot tubs, which we design support for from the start.

Do I really need composite, or is pressure-treated wood fine?

Wood is cheaper on day one. It also needs sanding, staining and sealing every couple of years, and it will splinter, warp and grey out. If you are 55 and planning to be in this house for another twenty years, the maintenance is the real cost.

Composite is the choice most of our clients make for exactly that reason: you wash it off and you’re done. But if wood is genuinely the right call for your budget, we’ll tell you that too.

What if something goes wrong after you’re finished?

You call Jacob at the same number you called to book the estimate. Our clients’ Google reviews mention the punch list more than anything else — because we actually walk it with you and fix what’s on it before we call the job done.

Trex and TimberTech materials carry manufacturer warranties on top of our own workmanship, and as a TrexPro™ Platinum contractor we can register the extended coverage for you.

Who will actually be at my house?

Jacob Weaver, the owner, is on the job. This isn’t a call centre that sells your project to a subcontractor you’ve never met. You meet the man who builds it, and the same small crew is there start to finish.
